Easter 2011

Easter day went so fast! The kids woke up around 8am and started looking for their baskets! Tatums was hiding in the closet and grants was by the couch!
Tatum is obsessed with tangled! The barbie doll was a hit!
Grant didn't get much! He didn't really care about his basket. He just wanted to play with the rocks from the night before! Grant is literally obsessed with rocks. He carries them where ever he goes!
We had a yummy dinner with the Steiner s than ended the night at my moms house!
When my dad had passed away we had stopped doing our "money Easter egg hunt"

Luckily my mom decided to bring it back! Me and Joe tied for the win this yr with Shauna and Jeff!

I had such a fun birthday last week! I turned 27! I started out my day with a lovely work-out that kicked my butt! I was so sore i could barley walk! That afternoon i set up for our Relief Society dinner! Than that night Joe through me a surprise party! I was very surprised and shocked he would even think to do it.
We have some really great friends! It was a lot of fun!

A few of my friends know me so well they even dropped off Dr peppers through out the day and a little sonic gift-card!
It was a great day! I didn't want it to end!

Rocko

Joe won- rocko is gone! After chewing through our sprinkler system twice. Joe was done with him!
Tatum was sad at first but doesn't really seem to care now! i guess its nice to have our backyard back again!

These days

(also dont mind the fatness of me... i had just had tatum)

I really miss him alot these days! I know tatum and him would have gotten along really good. Maybe not so much when she was a baby(since she cried for 2yrs straight) but i know they would be pals now!

Tatum was 9 month old when my dad passed away but i love that she has always known who he is. She always likes to point out and say "hey that s grandpa Steve" or when we say our prayers she will always say things about him!

A couple weeks ago Tatum was sitting on our couch kind of pouting. I asked her what was wrong and she said " mom i dont have 2 grandpas here anymore" Grandpa steves in heaven. i only have one... I want him! i have no idea where it even came from.. she said it out of no where.

It broke my heart! Makes me really sad to think she ll never know him!

I want him back too!!

Hole in the rock

First off.... Dont mind Joe's long awkward leg is this photo!

We decided to hike "hole in the rock" last sat and have a little picnic. It was so fun and the kids loved it! Cant wait to go back!

Coming up!

My birthday is right around the corner! (April 19Th) i like to celebrate it early in my family!
So if anyone sees or talks to Joe! Tell him i want 2 tickets to "the happiest place on earth"

Here s the problem.. Joe hates this place... Like really could care less about it.
I love it! I love everything about it! i am a pin trader along with my friend Savannah!
Dorky... yes but we love it!

Zoo

Last weekend we went to the zoo with Heidi & Mike and the kids! It was so much fun. I forgot how much i like the zoo! I hadn't been forever
I think i learned more about the animals than Tatum!
I had mistaken a lions " parts" for tumors! I had asked Joe if those were tumors the lion had.... He just looked at me like i was crazy! Haha than explained what they were!

I am sad this was the only picture i got of the kids at the zoo!
I cant wait to go back!
