Fun Night!!

Well in this picture..This is my Mom, Shauna and Joe. Before we went out on our date night the next doors neighbor s yard was flooding.(the neighbors were out of town) so being the good citizen my brother-in-law Jeff is he called the fire department to have them come shut off there water. So i decided to take a picture. After i took the Picture i handed the camera to my sister and said "here take one of me and Joe". Then the fireman asked "who is taking pictures" I immediately pointed to my sister. I had just passed the camera off in no time. Needless to say she felt pretty dumb. It was really funny..maybe had to be there sort of thing.

Then we went to dinner and everyone started opening up there fortune cookies.. I wasn't going to but i though why not join in with the fun. So before i opended it i said "Its probably going to say i see the future". Sure enough it did. It said " You were born with a sixth sense and superb insight". It was really funny cuz this sort of stuff happens alot. So i totally was not surprised when it said that! Haha j/k.... We couldn't stop laughing though.

Here is me and my older sister Shauna. Now She is 8 years older than me. Anytime we are together people are always asking us if we are Twins.( Thinking in my head..Iam like are they serious.. We look nothing alike). I mean yes we look like sisters but Twins.. I think that is pushing it. I just dont see how people can think we look like Twins i guess.

So to end the date night we went bowling. Which i am glad we did. I discovered my new hidden talent. I got a 119! We played girls vs. boys. Of course Joe got the top score which made the boys win. Joe was very competitive. Over all it was a great night!

Update on Tatum

We met with the neurologists a couple of weeks ago and its basically a waiting game to see if she has another seizure. We kept her on a small dosage of anti seizure medicine that as she gets older she will grow out of. The gastro results came back and it showed that she has severe acid reflux and if things continue to get worse she'll have to go in for surgery on her sphincter . Its frustrating to not know all the answers but will continue to wait and see how she does. She is acting like a normal 1 year old and gets in to everything!!!

Endoscopy :(

Here is Tatum with all her wires and tubes.. She had a feeding tube in and the other tube was for the PH study. She did so good through everything.

This was our 1st time seeing Tatum since they took her back from the endoscopy. She was so excited to see us. It was so hard and sad seeing her like this. They had to put these little cast on her arms for a while so she wouldn't pick at her tube! After a while they took them off and she had to wear socks around her hands with tape wrapped around them,

Here we are waiting for them to call Tatum back!

This weekend we went to the Phoenix Children Hospital to do more test. This test we did was the Endoscopy test and the PH Study. Her endoscopy procedure was on Friday in the afternoon. It took about 25 min for the test. The Dr said her esophagus looked great but we are still waiting for the biopsy. They also did a PH study which was a 24 hr test. It was so sad they had to stick a tube threw her nose and down her throat. She had so many wires hooked up to monitor her . I am so glad that test is over with! We have an apt with the Neurologist tomorrow which i am sure will be running more test pretty soon to get this figured out.

A Very Backed Up Post

Well it was Joe's Birthday Yesterday... The big 24! Happy Birthday Joe! Joe is such an amazing person and anyone who talks to him for 5 seconds will know that. I am the luckiest girl to have met and married him! Thank you to Doug and Patty for raising such a fine young man! Joe is the most caring and loving husband.. I don't know what i would do with out him.

Well yesterday (Sept 22,08) was also the 2 month mark since my dads passing. It was a hard day realising that 2 months ago everything was perfect.. our family was complete. Words cant describe how much i miss him.. I cant wait till were all together again someday!

Well for those of you who don't know Tatum had another Seizure and was rushed to the ER on Sunday the 14Th. They put her on anti seizure medicine called keppra and also zantac which helps for her acid reflex's. So these last 2 weeks have been real stressful. We go to the G.I specialist tomorrow and meet with them to see what to do from here. Than that following Monday we have an apt with the Neurologist. Which they will probably be running more test on her to see what caused the Seizure. This little machine that Tatum has on is called a smart monitor. It makes the loudest beeps ever if she stops breathing or has a low or high heart rate... We love it but its so scary when it goes off my heart drops every time! Once again i just wanted to THANK everyone who fasted for her on Monday. I couldn't ask for better family and friends . We love you all!

Happiest Place On Earth!!

If you look closey at our name tags that we had to wear.. Joe thought he was so funny by putting Jenny Babe Steiner on mine and for his he Put Sir Jospeh Clayton Steiner!

This was the best ride.. I dont remeber what it was called maybe roaring rapids? I dont know but this was everyones favorite.. we couldnt stop laughing and which mine and joes bad luck of course we got water dumped on us everytime we went.. (its the farnworth luck as we like to call it)

This is us at there awards cermony! Which it was lame.. They didnt even hand out awards they just called there name on stage and that was it.. Me and Amanda were dying for it to end!

Well Joe won a free trip to disneyland through his work because of how good of a salesman he is! We had so much fun with our friends Ryan and Amanda. We just laughed the whole time! We usually do when we all get together. It was a well needed break for us. I cant wait to go back with tatum when she gets big enough.

What a Scare!

Well where to even start.. On Monday afternoon Me,Joe, My brother Scott, his wife Julie and My cousin Jared all came over to our house for lunch. We were all sitting around the table eating and laughing. Joe started hearing Tatum fuss just a little bit so he went over there picked her up and handed her to me. Tatum layed her head on my chest (which is never normal, Tatum is the least cuddly baby ever) Joe Said "oh she is making a frowny face". I put her in front of my face and she went completely limp and stopped breathing. I handed her immediately to Scott who use to be a respiratory therapist I ran out of the room to grab my phone and call 911. Scott than started doing back blows. He hit her back twice and did a mouth sweep to see if she was chocking on anything and there was nothing there. Tatum started turning purple and blue at this time. Than my Cousin Jared who is also a respiratory therapist took her over to the couch and started CPR. After 45 sec to a minute Tatum started blinking her eyes and slowing coming to. By that time the paramedic, firetruck, cops, neighbors were all there.
Tatum got put into the ambulance and headed down to the hospital. They ran several different test on her. They did an x-ray, blood test, MRI of the Brain, and a EEG. All of the test came back normal. Which we are extremely happy about but than at the same time were still nervous cause the Dr.'s still didn't have an exact answer on why that happen.
I am just so thankful that Scott and Jared were there. They saved her life! We cant even imagine what our life would be like without her in it. It makes me sick just thinking about that. I just wanted to say thank you AGAIN for all the text messages and phone calls. This has been one hard month for our family with my dads passing and now this. I don't think i can handle much more. Thanks again for everyone's prayers.. It means the world to us. Thanks!
