Lion King

Brittany, shauna, mom, me, and christy

We all went and saw Lion King on January 2 ,09! It was such a great show. I loved everything about it! I went with my 2 sisters, my mom and my cousin Brittany. The show was great and the rest of the time was full of laughter! What more could you ask for all in one night!

Christmas Eve and Day

Before Musical chairs game started
Classic Picture! I love every one's faces in it. Yes that would be me winning the whole game of musical chairs.
Christmas afternoon visiting my Dad

Well this 2008 will be a year that i will never forget. It changed my life dramatically. It still very unreal to me! This Year Christmas was hard. I was not looking forward to Christmas at all. We spent X -mas eve here at my mom and dad's house. All the family came over to eat dinner and play games. Later on that night we had a big sleepover at my sister Christy's house. Which of course was fun! But we barley slept at all. All the kids woke up around 6 and we went out to see what Santa had brought everyone.
Tatum loved x mas! Santa had brought her a little tike's car. She absolutely loves it. We still cant even get her out of it. As for me and Joe. Joe got me a bike with a little car seat on the back of it. which i am really excited about, and Joe got guitar hero and some x box games.
For New Yrs we spent it with family. Our cousins Seth and Brittany and Craig came into town. I could barley make it to 12. I had to take a quick nap around 10 pm. We played the money game (which of course me and Joe won) and also a very intense game of 'sequence"
I am glad to say good bye to 2008 but it will definitely be a yr that will always be on my mind!

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Little update on Tatum! We met with the neurologist and she is getting off her Keppra in 2 weeks. She lowered the dosage just a little bit. Than from that point it will be a waiting game. If she has anymore Seizures than will go back to the Nero and go from there. She is still taking her acid Reflex medicine once in the morning and it really seems to be helping.
Tatum is 14 months old and is getting so big. She can say a few words like mama, dada, bath, please, no, don't, more, and grandpa.. She still doesn't know grandma yet!
It s so funny cause she will go up to my dad's pictures and point and say grandpa and than wave to him! She does it all the time. I didn't think she would even know who he is but i guess she does cause she is always randomly waving hi to grandpa!
Tatum favorite things to do is watch baby signing time! And loves to go swing at grandma and grandpa Steiner's. She will stand by the door and do sign language for swing! She is getting really good at sign language as well. Some of the signs she knows are.. Horse, dog, more, hat, bye, swing, shoes, banana, and bath. She is so smart and still very energetic.

Friends

This weekend we all went out to dinner. As usual it was always fun. But why do boys always do dumb things in pictures?

For the race you were suppose to wear your underwear! So here is some pictures of the race on sat. Tatum wore her undies over her PJ's.. Give Thanks!

Well since Thanksgiving is coming up in a week i thought i would post some things i am thankful for.

1. My Husband! Joe is truly amazing. he is always serving others and treats me like a queen. he is so helpful with Tatum! His love for sports sometimes is a bit ridiculous but he is one of the funnest people to watch when there is a game on.

2. My Family. Hands down i have the best family. I am sorry but i do... We are all best friends with one another and we all hang out everyday and talk on the phone everyday! I love it! All we do is laugh whenever we get with each other..

3. I have the best dad! He was the most caring, loving, unselfish guy that anyone has ever met. Just words cant describe how great of a father/husband he was. He treated my mom like a queen too! Never once in my life even as a child did i ever see my parents fight..or never even saw him raise his voice to her! He was amazing to her and us kids! I love him and miss him like crazy. Not a day goes by that i don't think of him and wish he was here. It makes me sad that Tatum or the rest of my kids will never know "pa"! I love my dad and am so grateful for the good exampler he was to me.

4. Tatum. I love the joy and laughter she brings to our home. She is so smart and amazes me everyday. She is such an energetic little girl who always keeps me on my feet. She is non stop running around from the moment she gets up in the morning to when she goes to bed. She literally wears me out during the day. which is why i always need to take a afternoon nap with her. I need to recharge my battery! (iam not kidding either) I love her and wouldn't trade her for anything in the world. I am so thankful she is a part of our family.

5.friends.. I have always had a great group of friends. I love them! I have grown up with half of them since 1st grade.. and than met the rest of friends in Beauty School or through being married. There all great and i love them!

6.In-laws.. I couldn't of asked for a better family like the Steiner's! They really are the best. There such a fun loving family! I love being over there( just not when the suns game is on ha ha) We always have so much fun!

7. Last but not least.. My mom! She is an amazing women. She is my best friend! Always has been. She is an amazingly strong women considering what she has been through. I look up to her so much and try and be like her everyday.

This yr holidays are going to be hard! There is going to be a big void during thanksgiving and Christmas.. I am just Thankful that my dad was able to be here for as long as he did! Happy Thanksgiving!

Blakes Eagle Project

Blake just got approval for his eagle project. He will be doing a fund raiser for the American Heart Association in behalf of Stephen Farnworth. He will be smoking turkeys in a fire pit for Thanksgivings. The cost is $10.00 per turkey. The turkeys turn out awesome. If anyone is interested in donating please contact me and I'll have Blake call you. This is for a great cause and we want to raise as much money as we can. I will post more details as it gets closer.
