Give Thanks!

Well since Thanksgiving is coming up in a week i thought i would post some things i am thankful for.

1. My Husband! Joe is truly amazing. he is always serving others and treats me like a queen. he is so helpful with Tatum! His love for sports sometimes is a bit ridiculous but he is one of the funnest people to watch when there is a game on.

2. My Family. Hands down i have the best family. I am sorry but i do... We are all best friends with one another and we all hang out everyday and talk on the phone everyday! I love it! All we do is laugh whenever we get with each other..

3. I have the best dad! He was the most caring,loving,unselfish guy that anyone has ever met. Just words cant describe how great of a father/husband he was. He treated my mom like a queen too! Never once in my life even as a child did i ever see my parents fight..or never even saw him raise his voice to her! He was amazing to her and us kids! I love him and miss him like crazy. Not a day goes by that i don't think of him and wish he was here. It makes me sad that Tatum or the rest of my kids will never know "pa"! I love my dad and am so grateful for the good exampler he was to me.

4. Tatum. I love the joy and laughter she brings to our home. She is so smart and amazes me everyday. She is such an energetic little girl who always keeps me on my feet. She is non stop running around from the moment she gets up in the morning to when she goes to bed. She literally wears me out during the day. which is why i always need to take a afternoon nap with her. I need to recharge my battery! (iam not kidding either) I love her and wouldn't trade her for anything in the world. I am so thankful she is a part of our family.

5.friends.. I have always had a great group of friends. I love them! I have grown up with half of them since 1st grade.. and than met the rest of friends in Beauty School or through being married. There all great and i love them!

6.In-laws.. I couldn't of asked for a better family like the Steiner's! They really are the best. There such a fun loving family! I love being over there( just not when the suns game is on ha ha) We always have so much fun!

7. Last but not least.. My mom! She is an amazing women. She is my best friend! Always has been. She is an amazingly strong women considering what she has been through. I look up to her so much and try and be like her everyday.

This yr holidays are going to be hard! There is going to be a big void during thanksgiving and Christmas.. I am just Thankful that my dad was able to be here for as long as he did! Happy Thanksgiving!

Blakes Eagle Project

Blake just got approval for his eagle project. He will be doing a fund raiser for the American Heart Association in behalf of Stephen Farnworth. He will be smoking turkeys in a fire pit for Thanksgivings. The cost is $10.00 per turkey. The turkeys turn out awesome. If anyone is interested in donating please contact me and I'll have Blake call you. This is for a great cause and we want to raise as much money as we can. I will post more details as it gets closer.

New season of the SUNS = No Husband!

Suns started today..Its the beginning of the season which means i wont have a husband! I am not a Sports fan at all... Joe knew that from our 1st date.. He took me to a Suns Game(surprise suprise) which he asked me if i like Sports.. I answered "Nope not at all"!....
So which means that whenever the Suns play all of us girls will get together and leave the kiddos home with the husbands and will go see High School Musical over and over again!

All of the costumes were so good! Nacho Libra was by far one of the best hahah along with Skyler and Jenny's! We also played the money game which is always a very intense and fun game.. Luckily me and Joe ended up winning the big pot of Money! Thanks everyone who came and thanks for my mom for helping and letting us have it there!

Happy 1st Birthday

 

Well it was Tatum's 1st Birthday today! She was so much fun today. We woke up early and she opened grandma Shirley's presents (which was a baby doll and a carriage thing) Anyways Tatum was so excited to see a little baby doll all wrapped up. She loves baby's so this was a perfect present for her. She just kept walking around saying "baby" "baby". For her Birthday we had a small gathering with both the families. Thanks for everyone who came! Tatum loved it all!
Tatum's birthday was great.. I just wish my dad could of been there to see her turn one! I didn't think that it would be that hard of a day! But i guess i was wrong. Sometimes it will just hit me.. like today when we started singing happy Birthday. I was holding back my tears cause i really didn't want to cry in front of everyone.. So i waited till some of them left and just couldn't hide it anymore. It made me sad that my dad didn't make it to see Tatum turn 1! It just wasn't the same without him there. But iam so grateful that he made it as long as he did..Least i got 24 yrs with him! Thanks again for everyone who came today i know it was last min. More Pictures to come!

Fun Night!!

Well in this picture..This is my Mom, Shauna and Joe. Before we went out on our date night the next doors neighbor s yard was flooding.(the neighbors were out of town) so being the good citizen my brother-in-law Jeff is he called the fire department to have them come shut off there water. So i decided to take a picture. After i took the Picture i handed the camera to my sister and said "here take one of me and Joe". Then the fireman asked "who is taking pictures" I immediately pointed to my sister. I had just passed the camera off in no time. Needless to say she felt pretty dumb. It was really funny..maybe had to be there sort of thing.

Then we went to dinner and everyone started opening up there fortune cookies.. I wasn't going to but i though why not join in with the fun. So before i opended it i said "Its probably going to say i see the future". Sure enough it did. It said " You were born with a sixth sense and superb insight". It was really funny cuz this sort of stuff happens alot. So i totally was not surprised when it said that! Haha j/k.... We couldn't stop laughing though.




Here is me and my older sister Shauna. Now She is 8 years older than me. Anytime we are together people are always asking us if we are Twins.( Thinking in my head..Iam like are they serious.. We look nothing alike). I mean yes we look like sisters but Twins.. I think that is pushing it. I just dont see how people can think we look like Twins i guess.



So to end the date night we went bowling. Which i am glad we did. I discovered my new hidden talent. I got a 119! We played girls vs. boys. Of course Joe got the top score which made the boys win. Joe was very competitive. Over all it was a great night!

Update on Tatum

We met with the neurologists a couple of weeks ago and its basically a waiting game to see if she has another seizure. We kept her on a small dosage of anti seizure medicine that as she gets older she will grow out of. The gastro results came back and it showed that she has severe acid reflux and if things continue to get worse she'll have to go in for surgery on her sphincter . Its frustrating to not know all the answers but will continue to wait and see how she does. She is acting like a normal 1 year old and gets in to everything!!!
